Water Jet Sweden presents product innovations at Blechexpo
In production hall 2 at Water Jet Sweden, activity is intense. Right now, the machine that will be showcased at the Blechexpo trade fair in Stuttgart on October 21–24 is being built. It’s an X-series model equipped with the latest technology. Among other things, Alphajet – the new generation cutting head for perpendicular cutting – and the PanelOne® control system, now equipped with a completely new HMI.
This fall the control system PanelOne® is upgraded with a brand-new HMI: Edgecut 3. When PanelOne® was launched 15 years ago, it was unique with its simple touchscreen and smooth joystick instead of a traditional keyboard. Now, PanelOne® is being developed further with a new, more modern interface.
– Our goal from the very beginning was for PanelOne® to be easy to learn and convenient to use, even for the most complex machine systems. With this upgrade, the interface is now built on .NET, and we have added over 30 new functions. Several plugins are also included as standard,” says Lennart Svensson, CEO of Water Jet Sweden.
– To make it easier for the operator, the logic and graphics in Edgecut 3 will feel familiar. The biggest difference will be in the handling experience,” Lennart explains.
From this fall onwards, all new machines ordered from Water Jet Sweden will be equipped with PanelOne® and Edgecut 3, regardless of model.
The machine on display at the fair is the smallest model in the X-series, but it features all the same technology. The Water Jet Sweden machines come in many different sizes, but what makes these machines unique is that all models offer the same high precision, regardless of size – thanks to Water Jet Sweden’s patented motion system.
At the fair, an international team from the German subsidiary and the headquarters in Sweden will be present. Experienced staff with deep technical expertise, able to assist customers in German, English, and Swedish. You find them in Hall 7, booth 7103.
